High School

We embarked on the journey of launching Legacy Christian High School in the fall of 2016. May of 2020 marked our inaugural graduating class! God has been so faithful and has blessed us in mighty ways in that journey. Legacy graduates have been accepted into Hillsdale College, Butler University, Taylor University, Cedarville University, Ball State University, Asbury College, Huntington College, and others.

Our high school students benefit from a modified block schedule with 85-minute classes on alternate days of the week. These students learn with a fast-paced curriculum taught from a Christian worldview that prepares them for college. Through our partnerships with Taylor University, Ivy Tech, and the College Board, our students have many opportunities to obtain college credit while still in high school.

In addition to the highest standard of academics, and with the word of God as our guide, Legacy high school students learn to see and navigate their world using a biblical lens. Teaching our students to be leaders and defenders of the faith is our focus.

Students learn to serve others as God commands us to do. They participate in Operation Christmas Child, See You at the Pole, Christian Life Emphasis Week, Missions Emphasis Week, and other community service projects. Our high school students also have the opportunity to serve on an annual mission trip. Our guiding principles resonate throughout our classes and activities.

Letter from the Director

Greetings,

Grace and peace to you and your family. Thank you so much for your interest in Legacy Christian School. Legacy is indeed a very special place. Our guiding principles are Loving Christ, Strengthening Families, Pursuing Excellence, and Serving Others. With the Bible and our Christian faith as our guide, we partner with families in Central Indiana to provide an excellent Christ-centered educational experience for their child(ren). At Legacy, each student is truly loved and challenged to grow both academically and spiritually.

Legacy Christian School longs to be a beacon of light and bring hope into this hurting world. We don’t use the term “Legacy Family” lightly, but it is our true desire to be an example of the body of Christ. As stated in 1 Corinthians 12:12, “For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.” God has brought us all together for His purpose. This has and always will be His school. He is forever faithful!

I hope you will come see all of the exciting things happening at Legacy Christian School. God is moving in mighty ways within the lives of our staff, families, and students. We believe the LCS experience will make a profound impact in your student’s life. I invite you to call or email today to discover more about Legacy Christian School.

Your sister in Christ,

Mrs. Jodi Monroe
